Dubai Airports Unveils DXB Express Maps for Seamless Travel Navigation

Dubai Airports has launched DXB Express Maps, a real-time navigation tool designed to guide passengers seamlessly through Dubai International Airport’s (DXB) bustling terminals during the peak holiday period.

This smart wayfinding tool allows travelers to access real-time navigation by simply scanning a QR code displayed on any flight information screen. Passengers can quickly locate their departure gate, explore dining and shopping options, and find nearby airport facilities with ease.

The launch comes as DXB prepares for an unprecedented holiday rush, expecting over 3.6 million passengers between March 26 and April 7, with April 5 projected to be the busiest day, accommodating around 309,000 travelers. The daily average traffic is set to reach 276,000 passengers, with a sharp increase in departures during the first week of April, surging 19% compared to the previous month’s weekly averages.

With schools on break, demand remains high for visiting friends and relatives (VFR) in key markets such as India, Pakistan, and the United Kingdom, alongside a significant rise in leisure travel to Sri Lanka, Türkiye, and Italy.

Dubai Airports has also enhanced accessibility services for People of Determination (PoD) by implementing clearly marked accessibility routes. DXB, the world’s busiest international airport, recorded 92.3 million passengers in 2024 and is set to surpass 94 million travelers in 2025.
