Dubai Airport Flights Update

Last Updated on Wednesday, April 29, 2026

If you’re flying from Dubai International Airport (DXB) soon, it’s important to stay updated. Due to ongoing restrictions, foreign airlines are currently limited to just one daily round-trip to Dubai until May 31. While Emirates and flydubai continue to operate reduced schedules, many international carriers have temporarily suspended flights.

Emirates Flights Update

Emirates has announced an interim schedule update for May 1–15, 2026, resuming flights to 16 destinations including Adelaide, Algiers, Bahrain, Beirut, Brisbane, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Muscat, Osaka, and more.

The airline is now operating around 77% of its planned schedule compared to earlier forecasts. However, services to Baghdad, Basra, Tehran, and the Male–Colombo sector remain suspended, with further changes still possible.

Airlines with current suspensions:

Until end of May:
British Airways, Cebu Pacific, Korean Air, Royal Air Maroc, Singapore Airlines, and Lufthansa Group airlines (including SWISS, Austrian, ITA Airways)

Into June:
Cathay Pacific (until June 30), KLM (until June 14), Aegean Airlines (until June 29)

Longer suspensions:
Air Canada (until September 7), airBaltic and Eurowings (until October)

Other impacted airlines:
Air France, Finnair, Pegasus Airlines, Philippine Airlines, SunExpress, and Wizz Air (no Dubai flights currently listed)

What this means for travellers:

  • Many flights are cancelled or rescheduled at short notice
  • Most airlines are offering free rebooking, travel credits, or full refunds
  • Some routes may resume gradually depending on approvals and demand

Travel Tips

  • Confirm your flight with the airline (Emirates, flydubai, Air India, IndiGo, etc.)
  • Allow extra time for check-in and security
  • Monitor official Dubai Airports updates and live trackers
  • Be prepared for possible diversions or rebooking

Note: The situation is rapidly changing. We will continue to update this post with official flight status and airport operational announcements.
