Emirates is set to enhance its presence in South Africa by introducing a fourth daily flight to Johannesburg, starting on 1 March 2025. This expansion follows the airline’s second daily A380 service between Dubai and Johannesburg launched on 1 September 2024, and the third daily flight introduced in March 2023.
The new service, operated by a three-class Boeing 777-300ER, will provide an additional 708 seats to and from South Africa’s busiest international airport. Flight EK767 will depart Dubai at 12:10am, arriving in Johannesburg at 6:20am, while EK768 will depart Johannesburg at 10:15am, arriving in Dubai at 8:15pm, marking Emirates’ first morning departure from Johannesburg.
“South Africa remains a key destination for both leisure and business travelers, and this additional flight allows us to meet the growing demand,” said Adnan Kazim, Emirates Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer. The expanded services also enhance connectivity across Africa, thanks to Emirates’ codeshare and interline agreements with regional partners.
