Emirates Unveils ‘Emirates First’ – A Premium First-Class Experience at DXB

Emirates has officially launched ‘Emirates First’, a premium check-in and lounge experience at Terminal 3, Dubai International Airport (DXB), exclusively for its First Class passengers and Skywards Platinum members. Designed to offer a refined, private, and luxurious airport journey, the space has been meticulously reimagined to reflect Emirates’ continued investment in excellence both on the ground and in the air.

As the world’s largest operator of international First Class travel — offering 26,800 First Class seats weekly — Emirates is further reinforcing its leadership in premium travel with this elevated experience.

A New Standard in First Class Travel

From the moment guests arrive at the dedicated Emirates First entrance in Terminal 3, they are welcomed through a grand golden archway, into a space that exudes sophistication and calm. A dedicated Emirates host greets guests and verifies eligibility for access.

The interiors blend warm, neutral tones with Emirates’ signature bronze and gold accents. Elegant wooden and marble flooring, soft carpeted zones, and luxurious leather and fabric armchairs create a serene environment. Signature elements such as Emirates’ iconic Rolex wall clocks and a backlit Ghaf Tree — the UAE’s national tree — add cultural and aesthetic touches to the space. Fresh floral displays and natural greenery complement the tranquil ambiance, while all digital screens and ads have been removed to enhance the calming atmosphere.

Seamless, Seated Check-in

Understanding the value of time and comfort, Emirates First allows check-in formalities to be completed while guests remain seated. Staff use iPads to process check-in swiftly, and baggage can be dropped at bespoke marble-and-brass counters with dedicated First Class belts. For those who prefer a more traditional approach, staffed check-in counters remain available.

Once formalities are completed, guests pass swiftly through security and immigration, and proceed to one of three exclusive Emirates First Class Lounges in Terminal 3. Here, they can indulge in à la carte dining, fine wines and spirits, complimentary spa treatments, business facilities, children’s areas, and even concierge duty-free services.

A Curated Journey from Start to Finish

Emirates First customers enjoy a fully curated premium experience, from complimentary Chauffeur Drive transfers to and from the airport, to exclusive lounge access in 43 global destinations. Onboard, Emirates continues to enhance First Class with thoughtful upgrades. Recent additions include:

  • A keepsake menu showcasing the airline’s fine wines and culinary stories
  • Engraved Robert Welch caviar bowls for unlimited caviar service
  • Artisan cheeseboards presented on rustic slate
  • White-glove service from dedicated First Class cabin crew
