Emirates Introduces Spotify to Inflight Entertainment

Emirates has teamed up with Spotify, giving passengers access to popular music playlists and podcasts on flights to over 140 destinations worldwide. This new addition, available through Emirates’ ICE inflight entertainment system, lets travelers enjoy a variety of Spotify’s offerings right from their seats.

The Spotify selection onboard features an array of podcasts in English, Portuguese, Tagalog, and German, with plans to expand to Spanish and Hindi in 2025. Among the featured shows are What Now? with Trevor Noah, where the comedian interviews celebrities and thought leaders, and The Bill Simmons Podcast, covering sports and pop culture with guest stars like Tom Hanks, Adam Sandler, and Larry David.

Passengers can also listen to Spotify’s top playlists, transformed into mixtapes by Spotify’s editorial team. Popular options include RapCaviar for hip-hop lovers, Viva Latino for energetic Latin tunes, All Out 90s for throwback hits, as well as genre favorites like Arabic Classics and Jazz Classics.

Emirates plans to update its Spotify content regularly, adding fresh music and podcasts to its already extensive library of over 3,500 hours of onboard entertainment, enhancing the audio experience for all travelers.
