Dubai extends a warm welcome to visitors arriving through its air and land ports during the holy month of Ramadan. The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai has introduced two special initiatives for visitors to enhance their experience.
As part of the #RamadanInDubai campaign, immigration officers are stamping visitors’ passports with a special #RamadanInDubai logo upon their arrival. Additionally, visitors receive complimentary SIM cards, provided in collaboration with Du Telecom, to ensure seamless communication during their stay. They also receive a QR code to access Brand Dubai’s #DubaiDestinations guide titled ‘Ramadan Events in Dubai’, offering valuable information on the city’s diverse destinations and experiences during Ramadan.
Lieutenant General Mohammed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai, emphasized that these initiatives aim to create memorable experiences for visitors and enhance the spirit of hospitality in Dubai. They also support GDRFA’s efforts to strengthen Dubai’s position as a leading global tourism destination, reflecting the city’s commitment to providing exceptional services and experiences.
The ‘Ramadan Events in Dubai’ guide, available in both English and Arabic, offers a comprehensive list of attractions and events across Dubai, including traditional Ramadan traditions, festivities, and family-friendly activities. It aims to showcase the city’s unique festive ambience during Ramadan and highlight its customs and authentic social traditions.
Through the #RamadanInDubai campaign, Dubai invites visitors to share in the joyous celebrations and experience the vibrant spirit of Ramadan in the city.
