DXB Greet & Go – What You Need to Know
DXB Greet & Go is an airport pickup service at Dubai International Airport (DXB) designed to make it easier for arriving passengers to connect with their pre-arranged driver. Instead of searching the Arrivals hall for a driver holding a name board, passengers are directed to a dedicated reception point where they can access their driver and vehicle details.
The service is currently available at Terminal 3 Arrivals and is used by participating hotels, limousine companies, tour operators and other registered organisations arranging airport transfers for their guests.
How DXB Greet & Go works
The airport transfer is arranged in advance through a participating company. The company assigns the driver and vehicle through the DXB Greet & Go platform before the guest arrives.
After landing at DXB, passengers complete the usual immigration, baggage collection and customs procedures before proceeding to the DXB Greet & Go reception area in Terminal 3 Arrivals.
Guests can scan the provided QR code to access information about their assigned driver and vehicle. This includes details such as the vehicle information, car registration number and parking location.
DXB Greet & Go staff are available at the reception point to assist guests and guide them towards their assigned driver and vehicle.
No more searching for name boards
One of the main changes introduced by DXB Greet & Go is the replacement of traditional passenger name boards for participating airport transfer providers.
Drivers and representatives do not need to wait inside the Arrivals hall holding guest names. Instead, passengers proceed to the designated Greet & Go area, where their pickup information can be accessed digitally.
This creates a more organised meeting process, particularly during busy arrival periods at Terminal 3.
QR code-based pickup
The QR code is an important part of the DXB Greet & Go process. Once scanned, it provides the information passengers need to identify their assigned airport transfer, including driver and vehicle details and the vehicle’s parking location.
Passengers should therefore keep the QR code provided with their transfer booking easily accessible on their phone when they arrive at DXB.
Assistance from DXB Greet & Go staff
The service is not entirely self-service. Dedicated DXB Greet & Go staff are available to receive arriving guests and help them connect with their assigned transport.
Once the passenger has been identified and the vehicle details confirmed, staff can guide the guest towards the relevant pickup point.
Flight delays and late drivers
The system is designed to help coordinate airport pickups when arrival times change. Passengers should proceed to the Greet & Go reception point after completing all arrival formalities, even if their flight has arrived earlier or later than originally scheduled.
If an assigned driver does not arrive on time, DXB Greet & Go also has procedures in place to assist the passenger and coordinate an alternative transfer where applicable.
Greet & Go vs Meet & Greet
DXB Greet & Go should not be confused with a traditional airport Meet & Greet service.
Greet & Go primarily helps arriving passengers connect with their pre-arranged ground transportation. It does not automatically include services such as immigration fast-track, assistance through airport formalities or baggage handling that may be offered as part of a separate Meet & Greet package.
Important information for passengers
DXB Greet & Go is currently available at Terminal 3 Arrivals at Dubai International Airport. Passengers using the service should have their pickup QR code ready and proceed to the designated Greet & Go reception area after clearing immigration, collecting their baggage and passing through customs.
The service provides a simple and organised way to locate a pre-booked airport transfer, with driver and vehicle information available digitally and staff on hand to guide passengers to their pickup.
