Emirates has temporarily closed its first-class check-in area at Dubai International Airport (DXB) for several months as it undergoes a significant upgrade. The airline announced that, when completed, the area will feature a new, luxurious private lounge with “private doors” offering an exclusive experience for first-class passengers.
Until June 2025, travelers can use alternative check-in desks for their flights, with specific counters available for US-bound passengers and others for international destinations. Meanwhile, Emirates continues to enhance its premium services, with extensive investments in luxury lounges worldwide, including recent refurbishments at major airports like London Stansted, Jeddah, and Paris Charles De Gaulle.
Once the upgrade is complete, passengers will enjoy seamless check-in experiences, complete with personalized service and relaxed, comfortable surroundings. Emirates has also invested millions into its lounge network, including this new initiative at DXB, further elevating the travel experience for its first-class customers.
