Emirates now offers baggage collection for Dubai-bound travelers affected by the disruption. Instructions include:

  • Visit the left luggage arrivals area in Terminal 3 (opposite exit 1, behind Boots Pharmacy).
  • Bring your baggage tag.
  • The collection area operates 24/7.
  • Emirates’ team will deliver bags to those with filed reports, albeit with delays.
  • Track baggage status with a file reference number (PIR) at http://emirat.es/baggagestatus.

Passengers should not visit the airport unless contacted by the local team. Emirates apologizes for delays and assures ongoing updates as they work through the backlog caused by the storm.
