Emirates is set to debut its newly retrofitted Boeing 777s on six key routes across the United States, showcasing the airline’s latest Business Class and Premium Economy features. The upgraded aircraft will be introduced on flights to Chicago, Boston, Dallas Fort Worth, Seattle, Newark, and Miami.
Key Details of the Refurbished Boeing 777 Deployment:
- Chicago: Retrofit Boeing 777s will commence service on EK 235 and EK 236 three times weekly starting 1 November 2024, increasing to daily flights from 22 November 2024.
- Boston: The new aircraft will operate EK 237 and EK 238 three times weekly from 10 December 2024, with daily service starting 18 December 2024.
- Dallas Fort Worth: Emirates’ enhanced Boeing 777s will be available on EK 221 and EK 222 three times weekly from 9 January 2025, transitioning to daily flights from 15 January 2025.
- Seattle: The retrofitted Boeing 777s will launch on EK 229 and EK 230 from 24 January 2025.
- Newark/Athens: Starting 10 February 2025, the refreshed Boeing 777s will operate daily on EK 209 and EK 210.
- Miami/Bogotá: Emirates will introduce the new aircraft on EK 213 and EK 214, with four weekly flights starting 19 February 2025 and daily service from 1 March 2025.
By February 2025, Emirates will feature Premium Economy on flights to ten of its twelve US gateways. This premium service will be available on both Boeing 777 and A380 aircraft, complementing the existing offerings on routes like New York JFK, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Houston.
The updated Boeing 777s include six or eight First Class suites, 38 or 40 Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 arrangement, 24 Premium Economy seats, and 256 Economy Class seats. Emirates’ expansion of Premium Economy aims to enhance travel comfort and offer competitive, value-for-money options across its global network.
