Eurowings, the German carrier, has initiated six weekly flights to Dubai utilizing its Airbus A320neo aircraft. This week, they introduced new flight routes to the United Arab Emirates, connecting Berlin and Stuttgart to Dubai. These services operate four times a week from Berlin and twice a week from Stuttgart.
On October 29th, Eurowings marked the commencement of its flights to Dubai by departing from Berlin Brandenberg Airport (BER), followed by the inaugural service from Stuttgart Airport (STR) on October 30th.
It’s worth noting that Eurowings exclusively serves both of these new routes to Dubai. Despite previous interest from Emirates in serving the German capital, they do not currently offer flights to either Berlin or Stuttgart. Emirates currently operates flights to four destinations in Germany: Frankfurt (FRA), Munich (MUC), Düsseldorf (DUS), and Hamburg (HAM). However, due to longstanding air service agreements dating back to 1994, Emirates is unable to expand its operations in the country.
