Emirates Expands Premium Economy to São Paulo and Tokyo Narita

Emirates is expanding its Premium Economy offering to two additional destinations on its network: São Paulo, Brazil, starting from November 19, 2023, and Tokyo Narita, Japan, from December 20, 2023. This expansion is part of Emirates’ retrofit program to introduce its enhanced cabin product on more routes.

Dubai-São Paulo will become the 13th route to feature Emirates’ Premium Economy product, offering passengers extra legroom and enhanced amenities. Similarly, Dubai-Tokyo Narita will become the 14th route to feature this new cabin offering. The enhanced A380 aircraft will also boast refreshed interiors throughout other cabin classes, providing an upgraded experience.

Emirates’ four-class A380 aircraft with Premium Economy will have 56 seats in a 2-4-2 configuration at the front of the main deck, along with 338 seats in Economy Class, 76 in Business Class, and 14 First Class suites.

Emirates currently offers A380 flights with Premium Economy seats to various global destinations, including London Heathrow, Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Christchurch, Singapore, Los Angeles, New York JFK, Houston, and San Francisco. Before the São Paulo and Tokyo Narita launches, Premium Economy will make its debut on Emirates’ flights to Mumbai and Bengaluru in India starting from October 29, 2023.
