Legoland Hotel to open in Dubai next year

A Legoland Hotel is set to open in Dubai next year, and it looks like it’s going to be a whole lot of fun. It will be at Dubai Parks and Resorts and is set to feature everything from a castle play area to a disco elevator.

Every themed room will be decked out in colourful designs, containing ready-made Lego models and other fun brick-based activities. The hotel is the seventh Lego-themed property to open around the world, joining destinations including California and Malaysia. DXB Entertainments chief executive Mohamed Almulla said: “We will have more than 1,300 hotel rooms available by 2020, as the Rove Hotel opens during 2019 and Legoland Hotel opens in 2020.”

Legoland Dubai is part of the Dubai Parks and Resorts complex, which features four separate theme parks. While you’re there, check out Hollywood-inspired spot Motiongate, Bollywood Parks Dubai – which showcases rides and attractions based on some of the genre’s biggest blockbusters – and Legoland Water Park, which caters to families with young children. It’s all connected by Riverland Dubai, offering plenty of spots for dining and shopping.
