Raffles The Palm Dubai will roll out the red carpet to its very first guest on Friday October 1 – and it looks mega.
The hotel is set to be an ‘ultra-luxury’ property, and comes with 389 rooms, suites and villas, all with access to Raffles’ renowned butler service.
The hotel sits on the west crescent of Palm Jumeirah Dubai, taking the place of Emerald Palace next to W Dubai – The Palm.
Perhaps most significantly for Dubai residents, Raffles The Palm Dubai is also set to be home to eight brand-new restaurants and bars.
If the hotel group’s recent efforts in the city are anything to go by (Taiko, Brasserie Boulud and The Nine Gastropub at Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk), the Palm is in for some impressive new dining options.
Regal dining will be found at Le Jardin, which is set on an outdoor terrace overlooking lush gardens, while Japanese-Italian fusion in on the menu at Matagi.
Music-lovers will adore whiling away time at Raffles The Palm Dubai’s jazz lounge SOLA, with Raffles Patisserie also serving up high-end Italian and French baked bites.
Raffles Club Lounge, accessible by guests staying in Club Rooms and Suites, will provide diners with 360-degree views of the Dubai skyline.
But it doesn’t stop there. Beach restaurant Piatti is opening with a sophisticated menu of seafood dishes, and Blüthner Hall, complemented by a bespoke Blüthner Louis XIV Grand Piano, will surely make for a majestic atmosphere. Raffles The Palm Dubai will also be home to a Cinq Mondes Spa, with 23 treatment rooms and two private spa suites, in addition to Dubai’s largest indoor swimming pool. That’s not all that’s new – the resort will launch a beach club that promises live entertainment alongside Mediterranean cuisine.
Other facilities set to be offered at the beachfront hotel include a cinema, kids’ and teens’ clubs, and a dedicated children’s swimming pool, alongside watersports including paddleboarding and diving courses.
Anyone booking a stay at Raffles The Palm Dubai before Tuesday November 30 will score Dhs150 spa credit, a free upgrade and breakfast for two, round the clock butler service as well as early check-in and late check-out.
