Emirates launches Dubai-Miami flights

Emirates Airline has officially launched flights to Miami. Flights will operate on the carrier’s Boeing 777-300ER, and will have eight private suites in first class, 42 lie-flat seats in business class and 304 seats in economy class.

The new four-times-a-week service takes Emirates’ US network to 12 destinations with more than 10 flights a day. As well as Miami, Emirates also flies to Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, New York (JFK and Newark), Orlando, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington DC.

The airline said in a statement that it has reinstated more than 60% of its pre-pandemic capacity to the US. The new service to Miami will also serve as a gateway to Central and South America, as well as the Caribbean. In August last year, Emirates dropped its four-times-a-week service to Fort Lauderdale, which is also in South Florida, about 40km north of Miami.
